MokchiInterview Stress Testing

I needed interview practice, but didn’t have interviews to practice with.

I had been out of the interview market for years. I thought the best way to get comfortable again was to take a few lower-stakes interviews first, get the awkward ones out of the way, and improve before the opportunities I cared most about. But I was not getting enough interviews to practice with.

Reading advice and rehearsing answers alone did not recreate the difficult part: being asked a question, losing your train of thought, getting a follow-up, and having to find your way through it.

Mokchi began as a small private practice space I made for myself. The first session was uncomfortable. The next one was a little better.

If that sounds familiar, you can join from the home page. I read every note.
